Today, international travel (even just crossing the border) can be a process that doesn�t always move as quickly as we would like. So don�t wait. Make life easier on yourself. Check to make sure your passport is valid, and will be valid and for six months after your trip. Remember, all U.S. citizens need a valid passport to travel internationally.
If you need a new passport, some words of advice
Start early. Using normal procedures, getting a new passport typically takes up to six weeks. A number of expedited services are available for a fee. Please start early!
